Effective April 11, 2025, foreign nationals who are subject to the new registration mandate implemented by the Trump administration must register visa online form G-325R. Note: Most foreign nationals that are lawfully in the US are already registered and therefore are not required to take any action (green card holders, aliens admitted to the US as nonimmigrants – work visa holders and students and issued an I-94). That being said, if you entered without inspection and admission or if you are a Canadian visitor that entered the US at a land port of entry and were not issued an I-94 card, you will have to register. Also, if you are a foreign national and turn 14 years old in the US, you will have to register.
